As you guys know, I bought my whole family shirts from The Great Bowel Movement. When I got my hoodie and put it on, I got this overwhelming feeling of empowerment. So I decided to share it with you guys…oh…and I cry. So thats fun.

Oh Jackie…. thanks for the cry! I thought I was the only one who felt the need to spread the word in such an unexplainable way – thanks for putting my feelings into words. Thanks for what you do and thanks for bringing such awareness to IBD!!!

Thanks Eve. Before I say this, I want you to know that I get NOTHING from GMB for promoting their shirts. Nothing, except complete satisfaction in knowing that they’re doing great things and I’m helping. So that being said…did you buy your shirt yet!?!? Hah. No seriously, advocacy for IBD has become my life. Frankly I don’t understand how people can go through what I have not want to tell everyone they know. I live this, but more importantly I love it. I love the IBD community, the people we are, and the strength that we embody. I want to to tell every one I know about the amazing people I call my friends, and often my family. My IBD family is really important to me, and frankly my internet IBD family is super important. I have a lot of people who I would consider great friends of mine that I’ve never had a real conversation with. But I’d hop a plane the second they asked. That is what IBD has done for me.

I haven’t ordered it yet, but I’m gonna do it this evening. How do the sizes run?
March 3, 2012 at 8:39 pm
As of right now I just have the hoodie, I think those are true to size. They do make a note about the women’s shirts running super small. Its worth sending them an email or a facebook message if you’re curious about sizing.

Can I just tell you how much I love you and how proud I am to be your sister? I’d wear that shirt every day if it meant showing you, just a little, how much you inspire me.
